General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) has been diagnosed with ALS and is showing troubling symptoms of the progressive disease.
According to GH spoilers, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is the one person in his circle who knows the truth, but Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) knows there is something wrong with him. Fans are vocal about not wanting to lose this popular character and maybe they don’t have to?
General Hospital Spoilers – Is Gregory Chase Misdiagnosed?
Soaps are notorious for rewriting history any which way they want. Characters like Nikolas Cassadine come and go from the dead as if flying Ryanair. People routinely have babies they don’t remember birthing, and evil twins are lurking around every corner.
Plus, there is a huge precedent on GH at this very moment that make a misdiagnosis of Gregory very plausible.
ALS, aka Lou Gehrig’s disease, is a vicious disease that impairs the body. Gergory has two sons in town, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), who he does not want to burden. He came close last week to telling Finn but the doctor was called off to see a patient.
GH spoilers – Hamilton Finn Must Know
Explosive show spoilers reveal that Gregory will tell Finn about his diagnosis leaving his son in shock and denial. Finn is an infectious disease expert, but that hasn’t stopped him from performing miracles outside his area of expertise.
It’s highly probable that Finn investigates his father’s situation trying to find something that could help his dad as he wastes away.
Could Finn discover that his dad was misdiagnosed and that his condition, whatever it is, is non-lethal? That is what fans are hoping for!
General Hospital Spoilers – What Happens Next For Gregory Chase?
Not so long ago Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) came to town to find his son Curtis Ashford (Donnel Turner).
Marshall abandoned his family years ago when he was diagnosed with schizophrenia. He didn’t want to be a burden to them much like Gregory doesn’t want to be a burden to his family.
Guess what? Marshall found out he doesn’t have schizophrenia, he was misdiagnosed. This is how things work on soaps. Today the Ashford family is happy and reunited.
Will the same happen for Gregory? GH fans want to see this happen, and the writers can easily do so.
Plus, we would love to see a love triangle between Tracy, Alexis, and Gregory—all have great chemistry and are daytime legends. Fingers crossed!
