Does Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Wake up Even Before Mark Wahlberg’s Infamous Pre-Dawn Routine?

Both Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson have been an inspiration to the fitness community for years, following their determination to keep themselves at the top of their game. Apart from being some of the most celebrated Hollywood Stars of our times, these two are known for pushing their bodies to the best of their abilities in order to attain the best possible results.

This involves a healthy diet followed by gruesome workout sessions, which all begin pretty early in the morning. And unsurprisingly, the WWE Superstar is not too far behind Wahlberg’s infamous pre-dawn routine.

Dwayne Johnson Rivals Mark Wahlberg’s Previous Gruesome Routine

While Dwayne Johnson and Mark Wahlberg have different approaches to maintaining their fitness, there isn’t much difference between their starting point. Previously, Wahlberg revealed that his gruesome routine involved waking up at 2:30 AM in order to use the day to the fullest. On the other hand, Johnson revealed that he wakes up at 3:30 AM.

But unlike Wahlberg, who used to get 7 hours of sleep after going to bed at 7:30 PM, the Black Adam star sacrificed two hours of sleep daily, claiming 3-5 hours of sleep was enough for him.

“I often sacrifice two hours of sleep just so I can have the quiet two hours that I need before the whole house wakes up, including the animals,” he told Variety.

However, in recent times, Wahlberg has dropped his previous routine, allowing himself to sleep more. But the actor still wakes at 3:30 AM or even 4 AM, which is almost identical to Johnson.

Although the concept of just having 3 to 5 hours of sleep mightn’t sound adequate to many, for Dwayne Johnson, it’s more than enough. Unlike Wahlberg, who has dialed back on workout sessions and spends more time on intermittent fasting, the Red Notice star prefers spending more time in the gym, starting in the morning. The WWE star credited his late dad, Rocky Johnson, expressing that he inspired the actor to be an early riser and develop a strong mentality.

“Every morning my dad was up at 5 a.m…he’d have his coffee and then hit the gym, regardless of whether he was at home or on the road,” Johnson told Muscle & Fitness

Despite not surpassing Wahlberg’s previous pre-dawn routine in terms of waking up the earliest, the Hollywood giant’s unrivaled determination keeps on inspiring millions.
